Got up at ohmygod is that two o'clock in the morning to catch our fight to Prague from Stansted...

After a fairly smooth flight and a descent into thick clouds we landed at the airport and were driven to our hotel by a manic Cedaz driver...

Hotel Tyl is nice with 19th Century style furniture and free internet access :) Plus it's only 5 mins from Wenceslas Square...

Have been out since 11 (10 to you guys) and only just got back from the Old Town area in Prague... Walked in the gardens at the Czech Houses of Parliment... been across Karlov Most and had a drink in the Old Square... Plus we visited the Kafka Museum, now i understand what simonsatori likes about his work ;)

Things of note on day one:

McDonalds... they are everywhere... with KFC being a good runner up... there are even signs to let you know how far the next McMucks is...

Beggars... look like they are bowing to Mecca but don't know the way... cup in hand they look like they are begging for mercy, not money...

Right... now i'm off to drink more Czech Beer (Pivo) :)
